Step 1

Apply and build your profile

Create your account

Sign up with your email address. There is no test at this stage — just your name, where you are based, and the field you work in.

Upload your resume

Upload a CV or paste a link to your professional profile. We read it ourselves; it is not scored by a machine. This takes a few minutes to complete.

Set your domain preferences

Tell us your specialisms and the kinds of project you do and do not want. We only approach you about work that matches what you have said.

Step 2

Verify your identity

Why we ask

Clients are relying on the fact that a real, qualified professional did this work. Verification is what makes that claim true, and it is what keeps rates high for everyone on the platform.

What you'll need

A government-issued photo ID, and evidence of your professional qualification — a registration number, practising certificate, or equivalent. We check the qualification against the relevant public register where one exists.

How long it takes

Usually one to three working days. You will hear from us either way.

Verification

Verify your identity

Two checks. Nothing here is ever shared with clients.

Professional registrationIn review
Right to work confirmation

Documents are deleted once their retention period ends.

Step 3

Get matched to a project

How matching works

We match on your field, your stated specialisms, your availability, and the level of experience a project needs. A person makes the final decision, not a ranking algorithm.

Typical wait

It depends entirely on demand in your field. Some people are matched within a week; in narrower specialisms it can be a month or more. We would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.

If nothing matches yet

You stay on the register and we come back to you when relevant work appears. You can pause or remove yourself at any time.

You choose what to accept. Declining costs you nothing.

Step 4

Contract and payment setup

Your contract

A contractor agreement covering the work, confidentiality, and who owns what you produce. It is short, and written to be read.

Payment details

Your bank details for payment, and the tax details required where you live. This is collected once and reused for every project.

Step 5

Onboarding and your first project

Tools and training

A short written brief for each project, plus worked examples of what a strong submission looks like. Briefings are written, so you can work through them in your own time.

Where to ask questions

Each project has a named contact who is a person, not a queue. Anything else goes to our support address and is answered by someone who can act on it.

Your first submission

Your first piece of work gets reviewed and returned with specific feedback before you continue, so you know you are calibrated to the standard the project needs.

Tools you'll use

Named up front, so nothing in the process is a surprise.

Payments

Payments run by bank transfer every two weeks. You give your bank and tax details once, during setup, and they are reused for every project after that.

Communication

Every project has a written brief and a named contact. Questions, clarifications and feedback all happen in writing, so nothing depends on being online at a particular hour.

The work platform

The work itself happens in our web app — briefs, submissions, review feedback and approved hours all live in one place. Nothing to install.

Questions about the process

For most people, one to three weeks from applying to starting paid work: 48 hours for the application review, one to three days for verification, then however long it takes for a project in your field to open. In narrow specialisms it can be longer, and we will say so rather than leave you guessing.

Your progress is saved, so you can close the tab and pick it up later from the same link. If something is genuinely stuck, email contact@meisalinc.com and a person will unstick it.

One application covers everything. We consider you for every open role that matches your field and experience, and we come back to you when new ones open — you do not need to reapply for each one.

Identity documents are used to confirm you are who you say you are, then retained only as long as we are required to keep them. Access is limited to the small team that runs verification. They are never shared with clients — clients see your professional background, never your ID.
