About this work

Physics and chemistry problems have checkable answers, which makes them ideal for evaluation and unforgiving of models that pattern-match their way to a result.

What you’ll do

• Construct problems requiring multi-step derivation
• Verify results including units and orders of magnitude
• Identify answers that are dimensionally or physically impossible
• Write reference solutions with reasoning made explicit

What we’re looking for

• PhD or equivalent in physics, chemistry or a related field
• Comfort producing rigorous worked solutions
• No AI background required

Time commitment

5–15 hours per week, projects typically run 4–10 weeks

Pay and how you’re paid

$85–$145 per hour, paid every two weeks by bank transfer
