Software Architecture Reviewer
About this work
Models write plausible code readily. What they do less well is choose between designs under real constraints, and reason about what breaks at scale. That gap is what this work measures.
What you’ll do
- Write design problems with genuine constraints and no single clean answer
- Evaluate proposed architectures for failure modes and operational cost
- Assess whether tradeoffs are identified or glossed over
- Review generated code for correctness beyond the happy path
What we’re looking for
- Senior engineering experience designing and running production systems
- Ability to articulate why one design beats another
- No AI or ML background required
Time commitment
8–20 hours per week, projects typically run 4–12 weeks
Pay and how you’re paid
$85–$140 per hour, paid every two weeks by bank transfer
How to apply
Apply once and we’ll consider you for this role and anything else that fits. The full process is set out on How it works.
